the weather sucks. it's so friggin' hot! yesterday at home, i took a bath three times but everytime i'd step out of the shower, i'd be all wet again with perspiration. grrrr. i need a new aircon!!! hehe.

Anyhoo---I saw Miss Congeniality 2 last night. Funny! I don't know if I'm just really mababaw but I was laughing my ass off the whole time! If you want a good laugh, I recommend this movie. It's a feel-good film in every sense of the word.

I don't know what else to write. My mind is completely blank. Haha.

Oh yeah, Celeste just sent me a text straight from the UK and she got me kewl stuff from there! Woo hoo! Can't wait to get my hands on them. Here's a shout-out to Celeste... I miss you dude. You better visit us soon. I never thought I'd say this but I miss your Phoebe-isms and I want to hear you order coffee at Starbucks with your English accent. Tyaka wala na kong ibang maaway e. Hehe. Crap.

My brain is not yet functioning as it should. Maybe all that gaming during the break killed most of my brain cells. I was writing a proposal letter this morning and it took me over an hour just to finish it. WTF?!?! Haha.

Anyways, I'm about to leave in a couple of minutes... Have a meeting with Rico Robles of RX and Chris Hermosisima of NU. I'm looking forward to it... it means free cut! Weeeeeee! Hahaha. I want to get a haircut and get my nails done so maybe I'll do that after the meeting. Hehehe.

Oh right, it's my birthday on Wednesday. This morning I asked my boss (Annabs) if I can go on birthday leave... I just received an email kse that we have a meeting on Wednesday. Funny... kse she said it's alright as long as I treat them. Hahahaha. Yun lang pala e.

So there. Ate Gina is making me ngarag na about leaving for the meetings we have. So I guess I've to go. Till next!

It's Saturday now. Crap. Just one more day to go and it's back to work. Aaarrgggh.

I was hoping I'd get to recharge during the break. Precisely why I never accepted any invitation to go out of town. That and the fact that I'm still feeling quite anti-social.

But no... I'm feeling all the more tamad now. Sigh. I wonder when I'll ever get back on track.

So how did my two-day break go?

Well... it was pretty interesting and a tad disturbing too if you ask me. Haha.

Anyways, when I got home from the office Wednesday night, I just played Breath of Fire like there was no tomorrow. Hehe. As usual, I saw the sun come up. At 8 in the morning (or was it 9?), I switched on the TV and watched Oprah. You know what they say about signs being everywhere? Well... the Oprah episode was about men who went on a rampage and killed their wives. These men supposedly looked normal on the outside -- one was actually a preacher -- but for some reason, snapped.

The preacher guy was sentenced to life imprisonment after pleading guilty to killing his wife. He was going on about feeling depressed for a long time but didn't get help. He said he regretted not getting help... otherwise, he wouldn't be in prison and his wife wouldn't be dead.

Just the other day I realized something was terribly wrong with me. I need to get help asap!

At some point during watching Oprah, I turned on my Gameboy and resumed where I left off. Next thing I knew, there was this violet monster after me. I was running for my life with people I didn't know. One was a wolf and the other was a girl with wings. What the...??!?!?!?

Then I woke up.

Probably due to lack of sleep, I dozed off and left the TV and Gameboy on (much to the ire of my dad hehe). I realized that the characters in my dream were actually characters from the game I was playing. Sheesh.

Something is really really wrong with me. Haha.

So anyways, much of my time was spent either playing, watching TV and videos, eating and sleeping. Buhay baboy ba. Hehehe.

And now, I find myself here. I needed to get out of my house or else I'd get really crazy.

For some strange reason, people I haven't spoken to for the longest time kept on bugging me all throughout the two-day break. Normally, I would have liked the attention. In fact, two of these people were somewhat a part of my past if you know what I mean (::::wink wink::::). But then again, me being my anti-social self, I gave them the brush off. I know I'll probably regret it in a couple of days, but what the hell... the past couple of weeks have taught me an important lesson -- if it's not meant to be, it's not meant to be. No amount of effort will make things turn out the way you want it to, if from the very start it's just not meant to happen.

Speaking of Sancho, I went to BMG this afternoon and shopped for CDs. Hehe. Jon came with me and he was able to shop for CDs too. Haha. Aileen and Rey were there. Funny. It seemed like a sudden reunion of sorts. Of course Chito and Espie were there too. And Sir Chris. We talked about old times -- and chismis about people we know and worked with (especially about this controversial couple making news in the industry right now. Wink wink).

I suddenly missed my BMG days. I was talking to Diegz the other day and he was suggesting a reunion amongst us BMG people. I sounded off the idea to Mario and he's up for it. Gotta contact all the other people asap! Haha. I wonder if I should even contact Alwin? Wehehe.

Oh well, it's a long weekend (Holy Week) and I have nowhere to go. Crap. I guess I'll just catch up on sleep and of course play games in between. I'm loaded with games! Woo hoo!

Countdown to my birthday... 8 days to go.

Not that I'm really looking forward to it though. Hehe.

Had a discussion last night with MXRR about what I wanted to get for my birthday. Oooohh... there are a lot! Haha. So, I'm jotting down my wishlist for my birthday right here. I doubt anyone will really give me any of these though. Hehe. But for the sake of conversation, here they are... All of them money can buy, except for one.

01. A Powerbook. The 17" would be perfect but I'd settle for the 12". Hahaha! I will be your slave for life if you give me this.

02. The new Nintendo DS. I saw it again last night. Sigh. I just gotta have it.

03. Altec Lansing speakers for my IPod. ;-)

04. Portable DVD player with screen. I'm always on the go and I'm never home so I need something I can bring along with me.

05. A new phone. I really like the 6680 but it ain't available yet so I'd settle for the 6630 in the meantime. Hehe.

06. This last one money can't buy... Go figure.

Anyways, since I've been onto this trivia stuff a lot lately, I just felt like (again) posting 29 things about me that most people don't know of... yeah, whatever...

01. I sleep with five pillows -- one under my head, one at my feet, one at each side of me and one I hug. :-) It doesn't stop there... there are about a dozen stuffed dolls surrounding me. It's actually a wonder how I fit in my bed. Hehe.

02. I hate milk. I can never drink milk on its own. If it's mixed with coffee, it's alright. But pure milk? Blech. Tastes like rust.

03. When I was born, the doctor told my mom that she gave birth to a boy. After a while, the nurse came back and said they made a mistake, saying it was actually a girl she gave birth to (ME!) and what they thought to be a pe**s, was actually my umbilical cord. Weird, if you ask me. Haha. Sometimes I think I was switched at birth. Maybe I ought to find my real parents. LOL!

04. I grew up without my dad around. He wasn't there when I was born. He was barely there when I was growing up. Nope, I wasn't abandoned... it was just that he worked abroad. I was brought up by a nanny and there was a story she told me when I was young, that when my dad came home one time, I actually ran away from him because I thought he was a stranger.

05. I am AFRAID of cockroaches. I'd rather see a ghost than a cockroach. Especially those flying ones!?!?!?! Eeeeeew.

06. I hate shopping. I hate walking around for hours on end and looking around. Unless it's CDs, books, toys and techie stuff we're looking at, though. But normally, when I go to the store, I already know what to buy. Unlike most girls who, every week (everyday for some!) go to the shops, look around, then decide on what to buy on a whim. Most of the time they end up not buying anything. I feel it's such a waste of time. My friends tell me I'm like a guy when it comes to shopping because I go in the shop, buy whatever it is I want to buy then go out of the shop. :-)

07. Patience is a virtue... and I don't have it. When I really really want something, I have to have it right that moment. Like, when I ask someone a question... I have to have the answer at once. I hate it when the person has to think it over. Hate it big time!

08. I don't eat pickles. When I was a kid, I used to love it. But for some reason, I just began to hate it as I grew older. Can't stand the taste of pickles. Blech!

09. I almost got kidnapped. Summer of 1993. Long story... email me if you want to hear about it. Hehe.

10. I "dated" a pop star. Hahahaha! Well, we weren't really a couple... but we went out and hung out. It's something I'm not really proud of. I mean, he's gorgeous and all. But... la lang. It just feels... errr... cheap. Hehe. He's not really famous but he's somehow known... then. I don't think he sings anymore now. I don't really know. I haven't heard about him in years. He called me long distance a couple of years back, though... it was a short conversation... haven't heard from him since. Not that I really care! Hehehe.

11. I can't sleep with the lights off, except when I'm in my own room. So when I go out of town and stay at a hotel, all the lights have to be on. If I have a roommate and he/she prefers the lights off, we have to get into a compromise and leave the TV on. I don't really know why... I'm not exactly afraid of the dark. I ain't afraid of ghosts either. I just can't sleep without any light on.

12. I have this uncanny ability of finding things out without any effort at all. I dunno... information about things just come my way. Sometimes I don't even ask for it. But people just make me kwento or sometimes I see it for myself. Basta. It's hard to explain.

13. I am not strong. I appear to be -- being bitchy and all most of the time. But I really am not... strong, that is.

14. No matter what I say, I never really got over Rein.

15. I have been to hell and back. Go figure.

16. I am not on speaking terms with my mother -- haven't been for, like, 6 years.

17. I'm (sort of) afraid of clowns.

18. Although I had Barbie dolls when I was a kid, I never really enjoyed playing with them. I liked my robots and toy cars more. =)

19. I don't know how to swim. And I am terrified of the ocean.

20. I like pain.

21. I just noticed this recently... I don't drink a lot of water. Sometimes, I don't drink water at all in one day. Weird. Hehe.

22. When I was 10 years old, I saw myself die. I guess it was just a dream coz I'm still alive. Haha. But it seemed real.

23. I have a guardian angel and his name is Louis.

24. I am manic depressive.

25. I hate posers. Totally abhor them.

26. I never read the news. And I rarely watch it... unless there's something really sensational going on. I have never been interested in current events, that one influential broadcast journalist even told me before... and I quote: "You write good material and your credentials are impressive, but you're not cut out for broadcast journalism". Ack!

27. I once wished I was part of the 27 club... y'know... Kurt Cobain, Jimi Hendrix, Van Morrison... all dead at 27.

28. I was named after Jamie Summers, the character from Bionic Woman. Hehe. (Sidenote: I wonder if Buffy Summers is related to Jamie Summers? Hahaha)

29. I am a witch.

whew, what a day!

it's only monday and yet i feel it's the end of the week already. i'm so tired. =(

anyways, got home around 3 in the morning kanina. came from the shoot of Milk N Money's music video. Astig!

members of other bands were there and did cameos. there was Popo from Moonstar 88 (he actually played the lead guy), Nay and Ry of 6cyclemind and guys from Cheezkeyk were there too. sayang Diegz couldn't make it... he went home to Alabang kse. minus guapo points! haha. oh yeah... even Darwin did a cameo! hahahaha. ayuz! he wanted me to do a cameo as well... but you know me, i'm camera shy. hehe. i just did one cameo in my life... blurred pa. haha. that was for the Eraserheads' video for "Fruitcake". try spotting me there, mwehehehe.

oh no... wait... there was one other video i appeared in. i'm not really proud of it, though. haha. it was in this regionally-produced videoke for Westlife. wahahahaha! it's cheesy but hey, that got released all over Asia! hehe. as if.

anyhoo, i bonded with the guys from 6cyclemind. =) they're kewl. i'm seeing 'em on friday. ::::wink wink::::

GLOC-9 ROCKS!!!

Last night, Glocky (as I fondly call him... hehe) launched his new album at Club V. It was an event full of ngarag that I almost cried. However, after the whole thing was over, I realized that all my hard work paid off. Glocky seemed happy and for me that's all that matters. =)

Francis M was there. Boy was I starstruck! Haha. I don't think I will ever get over that. I worked with him in Bulaga and BMG and during all those times, I've been really really starstruck. His CD was the first I bought with my own money! I guess that says something. Hehe. I had my pic taken with him. I will post it on here as soon as I get the file from Thea (Glocky's wife).

The launch last night was something really new for me. Hehe. It was like I was watching 8 Mile. Astig! Galing ni Glocky. He brought the house down. I hope his new album does really well. He deserves it. To quote Francis M: "Si Gloc-9 ang liwanag ng Filipino rap music". Ayuz!

And not in a friendly way, although I think we're great friends. And not in a misplaced affection, puppy-dog way... although I'm sure that's what you'll call it. And it's not because you're unattainable.

Oh well, it's the 2nd day of March and I'm quite pissed. I have to finish like dozens of write-ups and I am so uninspired. I love writing. I've been writing stuff since I was a kid. When I was 7 years old, I wrote my first "book". It was this cheesy love story (hahaha! Already writing about love stories at age 7! Go figure) I called "For Keeps" (there's a movie with the same title starring Molly Ringwald but I wrote my "book" first! Hahaha).

Anyways, I can't write right now. I haven't found it easy to do so for the past three months. Argh!
