Or so the tag-line of the latest Stephen King novel goes.

Just finished it. (Thanks Bananagar for the book!) It's like a cross between The Stand and The Matrix, if you can imagine that. Like most of SK's work, I liked it a lot. Maybe not as much as I liked The Stand (I loved that book!) but liked it way better than I did Desperation or Dreamcatcher.

It took me two days to finish it though, since work (and some fun with the boys) got in the way. Hehe.

Anyhoo – three months to go before the next SK novel (Lisey's Story) comes out, and a year before the last Harry Potter book. Awww, no more reading material for me again. Crap.

Dying Brain Cells

I fear for my brain cells.

I think they're dying one by one, if that is even possible.

Not only am I suffering from major memory gap, I now find myself thinking of something and doing something else entirely. Whatever do you call that?

Case in point... I wrote a business letter addressed to our company lawyer and instead of writing her surname, I wrote someone else's. Major major boo boo. Jamie = dumb ass. Damn.

And yeah... it starts with an M. Ugh!

When Love and Hate Collide

I wouldn't have believed it if it didn't just happen.

There is really a very fine line between love and hate. And when there's too much of it, love does turn to hate. An overwhelming amount of it, if I may add.

Indeed, love begets hate.

I don't even feel angry. I'm not feeling anything whatsoever, except for that great wave of hate. It's tragic how the mere sight of anyone, or anything for that matter, spells H-A-T-E.

And it's not as if I want to feel this way. I don't. It's over and done with and I want it to be as final as possible. But this little hate-rat is gnawing on me, its little teeth nipping at me from every direction.

Sure, love begets hate.

And while we're at it, here's a question... how do you forgive?


Masa Moment Yet Again

On a lighter note, my masa self reared its head again yesterday.



Hehe.

And well... I guess it's time for another shameless plug. Didn't I say before that I was excited about a movie Quark was gonna direct for us? Well... it's still on pre-prod stage, but before that happens, Quark is doing one other movie and I'm as excited about it. Well, maybe not as much as the other one but this project is exciting as well!



Watch out for it. :-)

The Overdue Vigan Post

There really is not much to say. I was in Vigan less than 48 hours, with travel time approximately 10 hours one way. Do the math. Though on the way back, it only took us 5 hours. Wahaha.

I went there for the shoot of the movie Eternity, starring Dingdong Dantes, Iza Calzado, Mark Herras and Jennylyn Mercado. Had to do the BTS and pictorial there. Nice!

Since I didn't stay long, I never really had the chance to explore and see the sights. I have been told that Vigan is a wonderful place. I just wish I had more time to go around. But I was on the set the whole time. Although the view from where I was wasn't all that bad either.



It was simply breathtaking. Although I wonder how people can swim in those waves.



And those really huge rocks.



Still, the beach was a sight to behold. And that says a lot, coming from a non-beach person like me.

Even though I'm not really part of the production team, taking the BTS (behind the scenes) was just as tedious. Of course weh had to go where the rest of the production crew were. And since most of the scenes were exterior, I was under the heat of the sun most of the time. It's a wonder why I did not burn crisp. I never did anyways. I guess I'm lucky that way.

But we had down times too.



A chance to eat, fool around, eat some more and fool around some more with the crew and the cast.



And well, a chance to have the typical masa moment in times like these.



And again...



Haha.

So there.


Happiness Is Bliss

As my good friends always say, "Happiness is BLISS"!

Finally, last night I was able to watch (and give comments to) the recording of probably one of the most anticipated "new" bands. Hahaha!

No, seriously, their materials are really great and worth checking out. This project band is composed of my really good friends MXRR, Lone, Alexie and Pao. I think their target release for the album is end of this month.

Quickie

Just a quick note to say that I'm still here. Still alive. But up to my neck with work.

My schedule has never been this fucked up ever! Sheesh.

Anyhoo -- just got back from Vigan, and now I'm braving the rains to go to Makati. Afterwhich, I dunno where my feet will take me. Hehe.

Will see when I can post about my Vigan trip.

The Return of Neopets!

Errr... it never really went away. At least as far as I know, Neopets has always beeon online.

But I stopped playing for over 4 years! Imagine that!!!

A couple of weeks ago, I revisited the site and was dreading to see whether my pets were dead. But they were not!!! Yahu!

And just like that, I'm back to playing once again.

Especially, since I have my own guild, together with Fair, et al. :-)

Well... that's all for now. I gotta get back to my pets and my guild and to Neopian Central.
