Due to a rather untoward incident last Friday evening, which I had no control of, I suddenly found myself watching the last episode of Sa Piling Mo with Nathan and Sir Chris.
Hah!
Prior to the final episode, there was like a primer thing wherein they sort of recapped the season, showing highlights from the program. Believe me, just seeing that primer was enough for me to understand the story of the whole season. Like duh! They could've actually told the whole story in an hour, but wasted a couple of months' airtime. Geez.
Anyhoo...
As promised, they showed the last episode with no commercial break (yay... as if! haha). Nathan was glued to the TV...
...although he didn't miss the chance to dish out several side comments in every scene.
I really can't blame him, though. I couldn't stop myself from uttering side comments myself. Aside from dreadful acting...
...and a rather pathetic storyline...
...Sa Piling Mo's last episode was quite a pain to watch that halfway through it, I busied myself with taking photos of myself.
Haha!
Nathan's fearless alternate endings for Sa Piling Mo:
Benicio shouldn't have accepted defeat so easily. The confrontation scene between him, Jennifer, Adrian and the kid should have been left hanging and then fast forward to two years later, and Benicio decides to forgive and forget.
And... (this one I found really funny. Haha!):
Benicio ends up with Adrian. :-)
Hahahahahaha. Sheesh. I cannot believe I'm actually posting about this!

Showbiz Slut
I am one. Damn.
When I say slut, I don't mean I sleep around. Hell no! It's just the feeling of being violated because I'm a slave to the game and the perverse system that is local show business.
I wonder if Hollywood is the same?
My friends and I have this running joke before that we want to see our names in the credits of Hollywood movies, even that of "Assistant to Mr. Norton" or "Assistant to Mr. Hanks". Now I'm not so sure I want it.
Waaaah.
I'm tired and I want to rest for good. :(

O.M.G. (Oh My Google)!
The other day Anna YM-ed me about google-ing my name and finding a result for writing credits for the movie Pamahiin.
I didn't know that the result she found was a link to IMDB.
Whoa, man! Sorry to sound so jolog but... whoa! My name is in IMDB!
Hahahaha.
Try google-ing your name sometime. It's fun(ny). Hehe.
Well... other results I found when I googled my name were about Gloc-9's second album, the ONL rip-off issue, the scandal about Philip Salvador and his ex-gf Cristina (don't ask me why), a list of SMCQC Alumni, credits for the Graduation Day album, the Sheryn Regis motherhood issue, a list of UP-CMC Alumni and an article about Westlife.
Wahahahahahahahahahaha!

Social Butterfly
I found myself fluttering from one event to another the past couple of weeks. That's over and above all my work. Hah!
Well, for starters, I met a couple of new people:
Nana Nadal. Yes, first cousin of Kitchie. Although as Nana says "wag na wag mong sasabihin yan!" Haha.
Gaby de la Merced. That pretty girl from the new Creamsilk commercial.
I have heard a lot about Gaby from my good friend Mikko but I just got to meet her recently. She's apparently getting serious with having a career... erm... not really showbiz but something like that. You see, she's already quite famous in the auto circuit being a race car driver and all...
...But she wants to take her career to another level and Mikko has taken on that responsibility. :-) I'm just along for the ride (pun quite intended).
Rei. I actually don't know her last name but she's Gaby's sister-in-law. She's kewl.
I've also been to the INXS concert which rocked big time!
Although it's the only rock concert I've watched that majority of the audience were female and people above 30! I felt quite young. Haha!
Was also punong abala in the 10th Anniversary of Imperial Palace, Mother Lily's hotel in Timog. Wasn't exactly sure why but it was all good and fun.
I would have been at Rockestra too, if not for a conflict of schedule. Oh well, maybe next time.
Where Are You?
I'm wondering why you never drop by anymore. No... make that I'm saddened by the fact that you never drop by anymore.
It's my fault, really.
Everything is my fault.

Change of Heart
The other night I realized I need to end this... erm... masquerade. It's not doing anyone good. And it's starting to affect other people as well.
It's easier said than done, I know. But I think it is worth the effort.
Thanks to Alexie who (sort of) opened my eyes.
Here's a promise from me: It may take some time, but I will do as you suggested. I just don't want to rush it.
