"Sometimes It's Not About Getting Ahead... It's About Getting A Life"Right.
The above quote was from the film
In Good Company starring Dennis Quaid, Scarlett Johansson and Topher Grace. (It also starred CSI Las Vegas' Marg Helgenberger heehee). I just saw it the other day, you see, and it really hit me.
It was like Someone up there is trying to tell me something. Hmm.
You know how we always ask (and pray) for signs? Like when we like a certain person and are not sure if he or she is the one, or when we're about to make major decisions in our lives. I've always been told that these signs are everywhere and we don't necessarily have to ask for them. And when we see them, we'd know it for sure.
And I'm sure as hell that the quote above is a sign. It's not even included in the film, but as a copy in the film's trailer. Which is really amazing because I don't normally watch the trailers included in the DVDs I watch. I mean, why the hell should I when the main picture is already there? But for some reason, I did.
So yeah.
I'm heeding the sign. I'm taking a break and getting a life. Indeed, life is short so I might as well enjoy it as early as now.
