I can't ask for more. I just had one of the best "vacations" ever where I barely spent. Almost everything was paid for -- airfare, accommodations, meals, booze. I just had to pay for incidental stuff like snacks and late-night drinks (which was rare, if I may add, since we almost always went back to the hotel really really full and quite drunk hehe).
We had so much fun that it (literally) hurt to go back to the city. But of course we had to. Got a lot of commitments to finish in Manila, and in other parts of the country. But hey, our Bora trip was the best best best gig ever! Well so far. I hope we can get to go back. :-)
Btw--a huge shout-out to Hit FM 99.5 and MYX! :-)

5 Things I Hate When Flying
Just arrived from the airport 2 hours ago. My head hurts like hell and I'm getting aches and pains all over. I guess it comes with age. Haha.
Anyhoo--I just felt like blogging about the ten most irritating things (for me) when flying, because both flights I had this weekend were a bit hellish. This will be really quick as I am on my way out again for another gig.
05. Our airport sucks. It just does.
04. The security measures are quite pathetic. I was aghast when I first experienced being asked to take my shoes off. Now they're also asking to take off your watch. What will they think of next? Take of your clothes? And why the hell do they need to open the bags one by one? It just makes the qeueu longer. Isn't that what the x-ray thing is for?
03. Air pockets. I know this is beyond my control. There will always be air pockets. But I don't like it. Makes me feel sick. And since I don't like it, it makes this list.
02. Delayed flights. C'mon, Philippine air transport regulations require passengers to be at the airport two to three hours before their flight. Then the damn plane gets delayed. What the hell? Now that I've mentioned it, why in the world are we supposed to be at the airport several hours before departure anyways? In other countries, you can actually arrive the airport 15min before boarding and no one will create a fuss.
01. Crying infants. I'm sorry. I know I'm not a parent and maybe that's why I can't be more understanding when it comes to this... but really, it is uber irritating to listen to an infant crying for hours on end in a small confined place. Especially when you haven't had enough sleep and are trying to sleep through your flight. I really hope parents would be more sensitive and try not to bring really small infants on a plane trip (unless ABSOLUTELY necessary), or if they do have to bring them, I hope they'd be responsible enough parents to try and make them shut up.

The Girl I Ate
The first time Nathan saw my grad pic, he exclaimed "Who is that? Is that the girl you ate?". LOL.
You see, at one point in my life, I was reed thin. For those who know me just now, I know it's hard to imagine. Haha. But I was thin as a pole that my mother actually asked me if I was taking drugs. I was in college then. The only time I was ever thin. Well... I was able to keep that svelte figure for almost 6 years. But that was it. Haha. What followed was a yo-yo and rollercoaster ride to destruction. LOL!
Anyhoo, I recently got hold of pics from those good 'ole days courtesy of Trec. I actually have a lot more other pics but since I ain't got a scanner, I haven't been able to upload them here nor my Friendster or anywhere else for that matter. So for the sake of... whatever... haha. Here are them pics:
Taken during Shaquille O'Neal's radio tour @ Magic. With Boss Rudy, Shaq of course, Trec and her friends.
Shaq @ RX. Notice how we can't even ask him to pose for a decent picture. Haha. He's so huge, he's intimidating!
With Shaq's bodyguards
Mario, Trec and I with Chris and JC of 'N Sync, plus Justin's mom Lyn. Notice my funky hair? Hahaha.
With 'N Sync at the airport 10 years ago. We swear, we already knew then that Lance was gay. It wasn't really a surprise when he came out last year.
BMG peeps with Julie Tearjerky at the BMG dinner after the 1997 NU Rock Awards (which a lot of people crashed). Ooohhh... Is that Rein there? Haha!
With Trec, Jojo, Espie and two members of Color Me Badd, whose names I already forgot (hah!) at Hard Rock Cafe. This was my first promo tour, if I remember correctly.
LOL!
Now, the girl who ate the girl in the pictures is signing off... :-)
Hahahahaha.

Quiz Show
It's that time once again, when I get this compulsion to answer just about every available meme on the world wide web.
Truth is, I'm just a bit bored. Things have been quiet lately and I'm just really looking for stuff to do. Hehe.
I find some of the results kinda freaky though. Hehe.
Oh well...
You Are an Emo Rocker!
Expressive and deep, lyrics are really your thing. That doesn't mean you don't rock out... You just rock out with meaning. For you, rock is more about connecting than grandstanding.
Somber, demanding, and freakishly logical. Emotions? It's not clear that Capricorn has them. And while it may be flattering for a Capricorn to be serious about you, bad news: they expect you to be super serious in return.
Instead try dating: Aquarius, Gemini, Leo, or Virgo
A bit wacky, you're very difficult to predict. One moment you're in your own little happy universe... And the next, you're on a bad trip to your own personal hell!
I'm not exactly a beach person. I never have been. Aside from the obvious fact that I do not know how to swim (despite taking lessons when I was a kid), I get sorta annoyed with sand getting pretty much on everything. And well, I kind of don't like basking in the sun's rays. It's kewl once in a while but when you're on the beach, it's pretty much a given option.
However...
Boracay is a different story.
A lot of my friends say that Boracay has changed over the years. That it's not perfect anymore since it became a tourist spot. They may be right. But I don't care. For a non-beach person like me, liking it in Boracay is already a big deal. For me, being in Bora is like being elsewhere. It's like I'm not in the Philippines. And that in itself makes me like it a lot! LOL.
But seriously, I had A LOT of fun the last time I was in Bora (maybe a lot more fun than I bargained for hehe) and I'm pretty much excited that I'm about to go back. Who cares if I can't swim? There are tons of other things to do in Bora that doesn't involve swimming. ::wink::
