i never liked valentine's day.

i think it's overrated.

and it promotes commercialism.

not to mention it causes a certain amount of traffic in specific areas (read: near motels).

c'mon, all these flower shops, chocolate shops, hotels and motels rake in a huge sum of money at this time. and all because people are so gullible to believe that this is one day when they can express their love.

hello?!?!? you can very well do this any day of the year. heck, you can do it everyday. (i mean, express your love... but not exactly the motel thing. hehe).

maybe you'd say i'm feeling this way because i'm a singleton. NOT! even when i was attached, i never liked it. i never liked receiving flowers, chocolates or any gift on valentine's. i'd rather receive it any day, or maybe during christmas or my birthday (which incidentally is coming up next month... hehe. hint hint... i'll post my wish list of presents some other time. haha).

and who the hell is st. valentine's anyways? is there such a person?
