i am a changed person.

haha.

well... i've been clean for over two weeks now. i do get tempted and am experiencing massive withdrawal symptoms but i haven't touched any ciggy for over two weeks! hooray!

i cleaned my room last night and i found around five lighters in various locations. hehe. yeah yeah i know... my room was such a mess, i didn't even know i had important stuff lying about but more on that later... :-)

so there.

i am a changed person.

i'm just waiting wishing hoping for one more thing and my life will be (almost) perfect. i wish with all my heart that i get to do it before the year ends. if things go well... i'd probably be outta here in two or three months' time. i wish i wish i wish!!!

went to see Neil Gaiman last Saturday at the Rockwell tent. i didn't realize a lot of people liked him. and when i say a lot, i mean thousands. yeah, it felt like i went to see some rock star on promo tour. so yeah, i wasn't successful... i didn't get any stuff signed. but it's alright. i saw him, was able to take some pics (although they were quite far), and i was one of the first to hear part of his upcoming book about this guy named Fat Charlie, which incidentally will be out in September... hmmm... another book to look forward to after HP6! :)

anyways, i saw some friends there like Mark Escueta, Quark, Avid, Kuya Mario, and this guy whose name I can't recall. hehe. it would have been perfect if i was able to meet the man. but as my ultimate favorite author Stephen King says in his Dark Tower series, "there are other worlds than this", and so i remain confident that i'll "bump" into Neil sometime. maybe not in this world. who knows?

oh... will try to post the pics some other time. can't find my USB cable. bleh.

okay... i mentioned that last night i cleaned my room. i actually got inspired because of oliver. hehe. anyways, like i told oliver last night, ang dami ngang kwento sa kalat! hahaha. it took me till around 2am to finish just one corner of my room! hehe. kse aside from the fact that it was really messy, i took time out to look at everything, read letters, laugh at pictures, etc. it was fun! oh... and i even found money! hehehe. grabe. some of it was in a brown envelope, while some were in old wallets and bag pockets. kakaloka. i think i gathered close to 2,000 bucks. kaya pala wala na ko pera... nakakalat lahat kung saan saan. hahaha.

i also realized that i kept a lot of stuff pala. normal people would probably throw those things away... but i had to keep them all! haha. since i wanted to be "normal" from now on, i threw a lot of stuff away -- three trash bags worth (y'know, those big black trash bags). for some reason i felt really great throwing them away.

i plan to continue cleaning my room this weekend... dami pa kailangan ayusin! i wonder what other things i'll discover? naks. for the first time in my life i'm excited about cleaning! hehehe.

on Saturday, july 16 at 7:01 am, i will be at the national bookstore in galleria to get my copy of the new Harry Potter book!!! whoopee! :o)

my friend who was at Fully Booked a while back for Neil Gaiman's signing session actually saw the delivery of two crates of HP6! the books have already been shipped to the Philippines and are actually here!!! yahoo! hehe.

can't wait. can't wait. can't wait.
