this post is kinda long overdue... have been really busy and i just found the time to post now.

anyhoo...

i had a really interesting weekend. jon and i went to eastwood last friday, where we bumped into annabs and kuya ro. haha. ayuz! apparently there was a PARI event wherein various bands performed. no wonder it took us over an hour to get there from greenhills.

we looked around for a bit and ended up buying things we didn't really need (well, at least i didn't. haha). i bought a couple of CDs from the tiangge and a book from A Different Bookstore. jon bought an exorbitant amount of CDs and several new shirts from People Are People, including the infamous "happy and gay blue shirt". hehehe.

was supposed to stay up the whole night to await 7:01 am for the release of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. but then... i fell asleep. hahaha. so i woke up at 10:00 am, fell asleep again and finally found the "strength" to get up from my bed around 2:00 pm. i went straight to National Bookstore in Galleria, where i reserved my book last March and got my copy of HP6! as i couldn't wait to find out what happens to Harry and his mates, i was reading the book while on my way to Rockwell to meet up with my best friends.

when i got to Rockwell, most shops were on sale! yippee! haha. while looking around for stuff to buy (yeah i'm an impulse buyer), i was trying to read my precious book. hehe. i finally stopped reading when i came to Kamiseta since i couldn't hold on to the book and look for clothes at the same time. an hour and a half later, weng and i came out of Kamiseta happy with our purchases. haha. yey! i've never bought that many clothes at one time in my lifetime. did that make sense? hehe. it was a shopping spree in every sense of the word. my arms actually went sore.

by Sunday evening, i was done with the Half Blood Prince. it was alright... though i could kill JK Rowling for once again making me cry. waaaah! she's one mean woman, that's all i can say. :-( she's mean mean mean! :-(

my favorite book out of all the Harry Potter series (so far) is still Prisoner of Azkaban.

i hope Book 7 comes out soon.

and i hope JK Rowling redeems herself. hehe. i hate her for making me bawl my eyes out. and i hate her for being the mean woman that she is.
