Tee hee.
As you can see from the photo collage (errr... I ain't an artist so pardon me if the layout is kinda sloppy... hehe), I had quite an interesting weekend. Weng picked me up after lunch and then we picked up Anna to go play badminton. Since I haven't played ever (not counting the times when I played street badminton as a kid), I was the self-proclaimed
"pulot girl". Haha. After about half an hour into the game, I kinda got the hang of it and realized that it was a lot of fun. The three of us decided we should do it more often. Weng kept on pestering me that I should buy my own racket.
Bahala na. The cheapskate in me prevents me from doing so.
We originally planned a
kikay weekend for us three ladies. But after the game, we were quite pooped and hung out at Anna's pad for a while. Then we decided to go to the mall and... well... shop! :-) Good thing the Ayala malls were having a midnight sale of sorts and we ended up doing, as Sam would say, a decathlon. Hehe. As usual, the "winner" of the night in shopping was Weng. I forget how many shopping bags she brought home. I just got a pair of
kikay shoes (err... yeah, I'm in a
kikay mood lately) and a game. Was supposed to buy a pair of jeans and some shirts but decided against it. I just bought a couple a few weeks back. Maybe next week. Hehe. That is, if I still have enough moolah left.
Anna was supposed to have her eyeglasses fixed and ended up buying a new pair:

Around 10pm, we were famished and had a sumptuous dinner at Italianni's. Yum!
With about an hour more to spare, Weng -- ever the shopaholic -- led us to more shops. Our last stop was supposed to be Powerbooks but when we got there, they were already closed. Boo hoo. Weng and I planned to go back the next day. Hehe.
Mga adik!Since none of us didn't want to go home yet, we went for coffee at Starbucks in errr... some street in Makati. Hehe. I dunno where exactly
e. I have a poor sense in direction. Anyways, we bumped into an old friend from UP there -- Mark Galutera. He hasn't changed a bit... well, except that he put on a lot of weight (who hasn't?). But he's still the same jolly person he was in college.
Around 2am, we decided to go on home since the next day would be another shopping day. Hehe. Of course, my day wouldn't be complete without...

...playing Pokemon! Hehe.
So there.
Ain't life grand? Well most of the time it isn't but who the f*** really cares?... as long as you have friends like the ones I got. :-)
