Aila at 1
Today, my niece Aila celebrates her first birthday. =)
Her party was a day early, though. It was held yesterday at Bounce, this new place along Ortigas Avenue, where kids literally go crazy (what with all the inflatable toys and such).
Yes, the little ones really go bonkers at Bounce, as you can see from this photo.

And this.

Mario and Grace, who organized the party for my sister, were laughing like loons just like me at the sight of all these kids running around like all hell broke loose. It was a funny sight to behold. Hehe.
My sister wanted a 'Disney Babies' theme for her firstborn and that's what she got.

Of course, a Disney party will not be complete without a
Hidden Mickey, which Grace creatively set-up for Mario and me.

Which Mario thought was a half-naked woman sun-bathing from this angle.

In between eating ice cream, cotton candy, and all those things that kids love, Mario, Grace and I busied ourselves with doing one of the things we do best.
Okray! Haha. Well... there was this certain person there who deserved our
okray and more. The opportunity was just too hard to pass up! Wahahahaha.
Anyhoo -- something was quite out of place in that little wonderland that day. In one corner of Bounce, I saw this and I knew I just had to share it to the world. Haha.

Upon closer inspection, the sign on the scooter reads...

Seriously? A rechargeable scooter? Man! That's hilarious. I can just imagine it. You're riding merrily when you hear that low battery beep (just like in mobile phones) and you whip out your charger while searching for an electrical socket.
Wahahaha! Major laugh trip.
But I digress.
Alvin had a photo mosaic done for Aila.

Which made me want to make one for myself too.
Kahit trip
lang. Haha.
Almost everyone said Aila looks like me.

Hahaha. What a lucky kid! Hee hee.
Even her mood swings is so Jamie!

Aila shown in photo with my dadColdplay or No Coldplay?Last Sunday, I (think) I saw a TV commercial saying that Coldplay will be coming to Manila in July and that Hale will be the front act.
Now I don't know if I got the info all muddled up
pero nakita ko ang nakita ko! (line borrowed from Iya in Pamahiin).
I sure as hell wasn't on drugs. And I was wide awake, so I'm sure it wasn't a dream.
Texted Quark about it but he has no news yet as we speak.
So there. Whatever. If Coldplay is coming, well then good. If not, then it sucks. But at least I wouldn't have to spend big bucks! Haha. Kidding.
Speaking of watching TV last Sunday... I did something I don't normally do. I watched SOP and ASAP, alternating between the two channels. Wahahahaha!
Anyhoo---I was really just supposed to watch SOP because it was "PasiklaBAND". But I checked out ASAP during the commercial break and whenever Rufa Mae was on on SOP, because she's such a dumb host and I cringe everytime she tries to deliver her spiels. Stupid
pa kse sinalang sya as host during an all-band episode.
Ano ba? Kakairita. Ang tatanga ng questions and comments
nya about rock music and the bands.
Aside from the following glitches (1)Sandwich was nominated for Breakthrough Band >> an award given to rookies in the band scene (LIKE DUH! HELLO?!?!?! WHERE HAVE THE JUDGES FOR THIS AWARD THING BEEN? SANDWICH IS NOT A ROOKIE! DEFINITELY NOT!!!); (2)the mere presence of Cueshe in the show; and (3)the sudden cut to commercial because Pupil wasn't ready, my Sunday viewing experience was (for lack of any other word) fun. Haha.
But I'm not sure if I can do that again.
To Err Is HUMANAnd a HUGE HUGE HUGE error it is for Human to get Cueshe as its endorser.
YAKKK!!!
